First Arctic blob chopped off at the knees, second one builds up

For New Years, the blob has been cut off by Pacific air.

The second one is running at 80% certainty, since there appears to be no Pacific air coming over the mountains.

The Arctic is fully charged at -50C and ready to spill.

The UK is still getting hit by these straight tropical streamers.  Very weird, and probably something to do with the remnants of the Gulf Stream.  Those streams are high-speed arrows.
