Good things come to Alberta

I've been known to say that Alberta is as thick as a board, and the same about my old company.  But, no.  That was then, and this is now.  That's what all institutions say when they are caught out.

This is fun.  You would think it was the stupid leading the stupid, but that was then.  I have great hopes that influencers will raise their game.

These organizations were once led by drunk influencers spending 90% of their time appeasing the political influencers.  The drink was a necessity.  There is no more staff doing these things.  The top people contract directly to other influencers, who promise they will do it on time and on budget.

This was done for such wonderful projects as the Bruce Black Hole, the Niagara tunnel for nothing, and the wobbly Pickering emergency earthquake power station.

That was then, and this is now.  As Barbie would say, nuclear energy is tough.  It really requires a bunch of anti-social super-brights, but they've all gone to California to build rockets.  I shall be watching all this for great amusement.
