Our warm plume is being blown away, but no clear Arctic blob.
Instead, we have a broad raggedy front of -50 air.
Europe is the same.
The west coast is getting a strong Arctic breeze. Looks like it will stick around, because I don't expect that any weak Pacific plume can knock it out.
The 'Swedish Sneak Around' in Europe is still holding. It's blowing away any plumes from the Atlantic, the only source of warmth.
All the warmth in the Pacific is finally being knocked down south, where it belongs. That warm spike is finally running its course, but we still have a last hurrah when nooa comes out with the world temps.
