The Canadian spill is getting weaker. A very small tropical plume is causing a huge cyclone.
We have a huge warm spot of -20C. Siberia is black, but this starts to look like an Arctic recharge. The Arctic is a huge reservoir of cold air, like a glacial pond. It spills out and recharges. This happened all last winter over Siberia, but we got warm Pacific storms, and everybody ignored the harbinger of our future.
The entire spill is now over the UK. I am expecting this to end for the recharge. But, there is a good chance for a continuous flow here, just like Siberia last year. The only thing that cycled was the flow through the Bering Str.
ps. the excuses start from the weather people. They didn't see this coming.
They have very sincere faces. You should always believe them.
pps. An essential part of the prediction of a "Freeze the Thames' (Little Ice Age) event is the close of Svalbard.

Once the ice fills in, we have a 'hard channel' for the Arctic spill over UK.
