Arctic temperatures plunge on dailies

 

World temperatures are being held up by tropical heat, but that is shrinking in influence.

All tropical heat is contained in that huge blob below the equator.  That's the remnants of a true sectional El Nino.

The False El Nino is now reduced to a pimple.  Do not put any money on this!

The North Pacific Current is still pumping up some heat energy to the north, but it is as weak as a russian tank attack.

ps.  the mid-length forecast is for that big Arctic blob to cover all of NA, giving -20C to Texas.  The Pacific air is blocked by that huge cold channel, and cannot come to the rescue.  We may get some more Gulf air, but that just gives us more snow.

pps. this is more like my UK forecast for the winter, but I was expecting a straight channel of cold, and this is more from the east.
