Bet against warmth

 

Just joking.  There is insufficient resolution to bet on a temperature change.  At that fine level, it is pure chaos.  But if there is a broad bet, then go for it.  Problem is, that there are no hard definitions in the whole clange thing.  Everything is fluid.  Freezing cold?  - clange.  Wet? - clange, etc.

Too late to bet on a snowstorm in May.  The weather forecasts are all going that way, and it's clange.  And you can't bet on the summer.  Last year, a super hot June, freezing July, and warm August and September.

You could bet on El Nino, but they'll change the definition again.  You are better off with hairdryers at the airport.

Doddering old men in charge

 I'm a doddering old man, but I'm not in charge.  I just noted that yesterday the US marines were buying huge WWII amphibious landing ships, and today they might buy this.

Have they actually bought one?  Nope.  And the air force was buying 64 Tomahawks a year, while buying fancier and fancier jets that can be knocked down by a 2-buck Stinger.  The army is just the army.

Canada is just the same.  Big things are sexy, with lots of schmoozing parties.  Neat.

ps the nice thing about the modern world is that it is now heavily weighted against invasion, or taking territory.  Military balances always swing from offence to defense, big to little.  We are safe from having anxiety about China, but we can't buy from them any more because of the jet fuel doubling.

How's he getting out of there alive?  I like this guy, now.  At one time we were thinking of never using any money with his head on it.  Now trumpy has to go to war with the entire world that is laughing at him.  How's the soccer coming along?

Overnight, all my China purchases have gone up 30%.  And no tariffs.  Ammie is next.  All the regular stores have gone under, so everything is Costco again, like the 80's.

ps Canada can get rich by using all our oil for jet fuel for China.  Our confined natgas gets turned in methanol, and we make our own methanol cars.  Even a vacuum company in China is making cars, we can do the same.  Or, get all the methanol cars from China, and put up the drug-growing greenhouses.  We can't stay with the old order because the US is gone, and it will take a generation to come back.  No need in the US for Ice, the illegal immigrants are all jumping ship.

 Today is one of those days when I can't figure out what is going on.

The Europe channel is closing up.  Toronto is still getting hit big time, but nothing behind it.

Just don't look at these two charts.  

At the 30% confidence level, the Arctic is going back into recharge.  The west is being taken over by stagnant heat.  50% chance of a couple winter things in May.

This has gone up 20% since I reviewed it.  I am expecting the stinky hot summers of my youth.  Prepare to die!  This is the highest quality thing I ever owned, and it's for the cottage, and sleeping out in a tent, when the old tin shed can bake cookies.

Wow, are things going up in the last week!  You'd think there was a blockade or something.  Nasty Ontario isn't picking up cardboard bundles any more.  Hurts their poor backies.  Now you have to slice it all up to fit in the bucket.  Get these scissors, and live, my friend.

Again, 30% up in the past week.  I've got to stop reviewing.  Worried about home invasion?  This film is so tough, you need the above scissors to cut it.  That's what I got them for.  For the stinky summer, put these on the sunny windows at 15%.  If you have full sun, then it bakes itself.  In the shade, use a heat gun.  This stuff will save me a fortune in replacing the old thermal insets.  It bakes the water right out.  I finally got good after 2 applications.  I keep buying it, but not at this price.   Should save me at the cottage.

Governments always over-steer

 Oversteering is a late reaction to an event and turning too much.  It is best not to steer at all.

I just saw the movie "Good Luck, yada yada".  It is like all leftie lip-flapping.  See a trend and extrapolate linearly, to infinity.  

But everything is cycles.  The human brain rejects conformity and opium for the masses.  

Infrasound on humans

 

This article is sleazy and a total work of Artieness, but it hints at experiments I've wanted done for a long time.  We are talking about vibrations at 18Hz.  Probably all mammals react to this, because it would always signify danger, like a big dinosaur coming to step on you.

This is the Scientific Method.  The hypothesis is that 18Hz makes you go nutsy.  Test it with a controlled experiment, instead of just lip-flapping.  I've always gone with this hypothesis ever since people complained to me about windmill farms.  With a seismometer, you can see they are huge producers of infrasound.  When they are actually working, they all sync up and spin.  

This is the first part of the experiment, now we can measure what happens on a windy day.  There is the chance that wind alone produces the thumping.  My depression is very sensitive to it.  I also suspect the windmill effect is 10 times worse downstream.  More experiments need to be done, but windmills are infinitely worse than round-up.  Don't get me started on solar cells!

Same Old - Cold

 I would like to see the Arctic Basin Vortex finally break up, but wishes aren't fishes.

A good blast coming down, freezing the cottage, so I can't open it this weekend.

Cottages turn into Mega-yachts, not very good ones

 Luxury awash!  How horrible!  Perhaps if you put your cottage 60 feet up, and had to lug up every single thing, it would be different.

It's a weird thing when people demand answers to natural cycles.  A lot of people rely on a one-inch control of lake levels.  Was this ever realistic?  

The answer to all this is 'climate change', it is the answer to the meaning of life, like '42', or whatever that was.  The world weather physics that I'm into, can't deal with this detail.  As we have seen, we can have a stationary vortex that just pours down endless snow and rain.  Can we do anything about this?

Don't know and don't care.  I just want the winter to go away.  Not happening soon.

ps I remember the old company, full of tyrants who demanded measures during a really bad ice year.  We put in something to pacify them, and it never happened again, while I was there.  Neat.  This will be the same, people demand 'over steering'.  Lots of money could be spent for a 10% improvement, when you would really need a 10x improvement.

The real physics news society

 

Once in a while, I'll see a 'Science Porn' article that looks real.  That's about 1% of them.  This can scale since just a little piece is a huge scaling.  The only question is the expense.  In the nuclear plant we use huge blocks of lead for shielding, and that makes earthquakes a problem.  It almost seems like fantasy that you could replace that with a thin sheet.

The only other explanation is that this is a total fraud, but we'll find that out soon.  The essence of the Scientific Method is to reproduce it.

ps now that I've chewed on it, this defies basic physics, like 'perpetual motion machines' and 'greenhouse gases'.  With that 'Nutty Battery' and such, they must think there is great profit in this sort of 'snake oil'.  Really, who is there to oppose it?  And if they did oppose it, who is there to listen?

Long-lasting Mid-West Vortex Finally Shoved Out by Cold

 

Wow, I am tired of calling Arctic spills.  Both NA and Europe are being hit by huge blasts.  In 2016, when I saw the ocean currents turn over, I said we would be getting colder and colder, while the professional anxiety merchants would say we are getting warmer and warmer.  

The UK is protected by a very weak Atlantic plume.

All the tropical plumes are so weak, you might as well call Medically Assisted Death, and knock them on the head.

The 'Heart of Coldness' the Arctic Basin Vortex is still churning away, making more cold spills.  I'll let you know when I see the first sign of Spring.  The Gulf air is dead, so I'm not expecting much.

Europe and Alberta suffer the same thing

 We have had an Alberta permanent vortex for weeks now.  Visitors coming back from Edmonton say its ten times worse than Huntsville.  I didn't realize that Europe has the same thing.

Europe is getting a full flow coming down, so what they were whining about before will be forgotten.  The problem with always using 'Polar Vortex' as meaning 'cold' is that there is no degree.  You can't say 'Very Polar Vortex'.  I can't wait to see what micro heat wave they picture next.  They have the curse that every hot spot they locate is frozen the next day.  People shouldn't let them in.

Can't take him anywhere

 

The US Civil War has begun.  Actually, it's always been around, it's just turned into a shooting war. There are now 10,000 suicidal shooters with plastic guns, all going for one guy.  

This started with the Intellectual East Coast Leftie Elite.  They did everything to interfere with everybody's life.  You heard the grumblings for a long time, and they banned air conditioning, the same way they banned coal.

This formed a horrendous backlash.  Instead of hidden criminality, like a trillion dollar burden of windmills on society, we got open criminality of the Republicans.  Trump used to say he could walk down the streets of Washington, shooting people, and get away with it.  Now, he can't walk down any street without somebody taking a shot at him.  Every American carries a bullet with his name on it.

Cold all week

 That's the regular weather forecast.  Normally, we would be getting Pacific air for our Spring, but no more, forever.

Cold is coming down, and wiping out the mid-west vortex.  The Gulf is stagnant, and has been our only source of heat lately.

Greenland has gone black again.

No heat anywhere.  The media only had Northern India, but that ship has sailed.

The Arctic Basin Vortex, or the Ice Machine, has gone 'perfect'.  This is the strongest I've seen it all winter, and it means much more cold.  I remember snow on Mother's day in the good old days.  

It's fun that no amount of cold can blow up the climate groupthink.  They can always make excuses and check temperatures in Death Valley.  The whole world has abandoned the Scientific Method, with math and physics.

Two weird vortexes

 Just had to put these down.  I have no idea what they mean, but it's important.

This is the perpetual vortex over the prairies.  Just stays there.  Needs some physics.

And this is the stationary vortex over the Arctic.  Been there for months.  This one has been generating the cold Arctic blobs that come down to hit us.

Toronto gun hit down the road

 

Got something on the video, but now I can't run things to get a good shot.  Never had to use this before.

We have the getaway car screeching down the road.  Then a lady is walking up, hears the gun shots and starts filming right behind the getaway car, and walking over to the gun men.  Wow.
