This is unexpected, and if you are the 3 people in the world who keep track of regular weather forecasts, it was not predicted. But who cares?
We are getting our Classic Spring. Pacific air zooming from the West. Time to do garden work.
In all of Canada, this happiness is only for Toronto. Our weather is always a battle between the Big Three energy sources - Pacific, Arctic, and Gulf. Today, the Gulf and Arctic have retreated and left us a weak Pacific.
A Gloomy Gus might note that the Arctic Ice Machine is spinning as it has all winter.
He might also note that the Pacific has no heat energy, and all the plumes are ghosts of their former selves. But not this guy! Time to plant the beans, but with a crop cover. Lots of kale and broccy this year, like last year. The tomatoes will be fine with two months of intense, stagnant summer.
