We have had an Alberta permanent vortex for weeks now. Visitors coming back from Edmonton say its ten times worse than Huntsville. I didn't realize that Europe has the same thing.

The Arctic 'Ice Machine' vortex has broken up into two. That doesn't mean much.
Europe is getting a full flow coming down, so what they were whining about before will be forgotten. The problem with always using 'Polar Vortex' as meaning 'cold' is that there is no degree. You can't say 'Very Polar Vortex'. I can't wait to see what micro heat wave they picture next. They have the curse that every hot spot they locate is frozen the next day. People shouldn't let them in.
ps the mid-west vortex has broken up into two, the same as the Arctic. Must be Quantum Entanglement.
