The old useless navy just has big guns for distant destruction. They can plop a shell precisely at any spot within 30 miles or so. But what if the target is a zigging speedboat? Nope. The only thing that can get that is a big machine gun or a drone. The US has to bring in boats, which are sitting ducks for drones.
This is just another fine example of the King ordering the tide to stop. Fun.
