Cold breaks up

One day I will announce that winter is over, but not this day.

Our last cold blob has dashed against the rocks of warmth.  Pacific plumes are finally attacking the Arctic.

You would look at this warmth over the Arctic and yell "Haallylooloo".

Until you see the warmth has overridden the Great Arctic Ice Machine, and it is churning away, as usual, chewing up the warmth and turning it into cold sludge.  That's what pours over us.  So, I give a 50% chance you can plant the beans, but not really.  I'm going to put away the snowblower, just to be optimistic.

If the Arctic ice vortex breaks up, then it goes to 70%.  All you Hunties under a foot of new snow, can enjoy yourselves reading about the 'Super El No-no' coming this year.

ps  yesterday, I was going to say how the air temps were supporting the idea of warmth, but it is hooking down.

This is really weird.  We have an ocean-current hurricane, the likes of which I have never seen.  Combined with the hook-down, this is the opposite of a heating event.  Drat, the fish pokes his head our of his hole, and predicts winter into May.
