This just happened overnight, but it is what I thought would happen. The spill through Alaska caused all that water to hit BC. Also, there was a lot of Pacific air coming over the mountains. That may be ending.
ps. the Alaska spill was caused by the Greenland gap being blocked by endless cyclones.
This heat energy came from tropical air being shoved over Africa. That was unusual and it looks like it has stopped. We should get a steady flow of Arctic air through Greenland now.
ps. the sea water in the Greenland gap is getting extra cold.
