We can see that cyclones are still holding back the Arctic spill. Nothing is coming over Canada, or through the Bering Str.
And we have another burst of heat through Africa to the Atlantic Belt. There was a pause, and this is now hitting the north, but the new blob of heat will keep everything toasty and soaking wet for UK.
This African involvement is unusual, and I have no idea how long it can keep up.
