A beautiful place, I want to go one day, but it's tourist season conflicts with my cottage time.
This is one of the 'rules of geology', that nice scenery comes with a risk. You can see that Iceland stands strong against the separation of Europe and North America. That rift separates at the speed of your thumbnail growing. So, we are going to get these splurts.
Most likely it is going to be a slow thing, giving us lots of pictures. I'm surprised that the media hasn't gone all out with doomerism, like 'Black Death for Europe'. They are very restrained.
