Sea level goes up to the top of the fuzz

Sea level has been staying fairly constant, and is responding to tiny ticks in the output of the Western Pacific heat engine.  This is the zone that's been shooting those rivers at BC, and I thought it was dying.

But it got a second wind, and is incubating a huge typhoon (or not).  A fully active heat engine shows fine structure within it, usually complex vortexes.  This zone is becoming more complex, so it might go for a while.

The atmospheric convection plumes still look like they are running out of energy.

The European action is amazing and I have no idea what it means.

I've been following arctic ice and it's still going northbound like you said it will.

Yes, the ice volume is about to exceed the recent average. I'm waiting for all the islands to be encased. That would be a huge 'milestone' that we will never hear about (except from me).
