Nothing much happening. Lots of good black coming in. When it is white (-60), it can fend off weak plumes, and form an 'ice lock'.
The Arctic has had its 'cyclone bump', and should settle down.
The tropics have been providing all the heat energy for our December warm spell, and that's the left-over micro El Nino that I always go on about. This winter will be defined by heating degree days, and the price of natgas. not happy stories.
