Greenland gives the white light, first channel coming down

 

Greenland now has an 'ice lock', and should stay that way for the season.  

That first clipper has been swept away by a Gulf plume, and new, bigger one is coming down.  The regular weather forecast has changed.

The Hudson Bay vortex is finally done, and it was a huge block to the cold air channels.  The UK channel should open soon.
