The Arctic is snug, resting under a warm blanket. It does this once in a while, and I have no obvious mechanism, which happens when nothing is measured.
People can move on from the El Nino debacle, to 'Carbon dioxide is blanketing the Arctic'. Why not?
There are nothing but extremely weak plumes hitting the North. They get total access to travel across the continent. No Arctic activity at all.
