This is a weak channel, with a bit of air from the Pacific. But it is making a good lunge.

This is halfway between a clipper and full Arctic spill. However, it is following the expected path. Once a full spill starts, it will be amazing how far it goes.
Europe still has lots of cyclones from Atlantic action.

How much heat is coming over Africa? How much is getting by the Andes, and spilling into the Pacific? You can see there is a gap from Africa, and this will translate into a full spill for UK.
