It's Groundhog Day!
In a nutshell, the Arctic is continuously streaming cold to Europe. This is diverting the weak Atlantic plumes over to Greenland. The Arctic basin cooling vortex is not starting. The chaos has broken into a new mechanism, and I don't know what that is.
ps the official warmie explanation according to FB is that climate change extreme warmth has melted the fence to the polar cold, and the Polar Vortex is just melting all over us, like ice cream. No forecast on how long this will last.
However, I can't find any pat explanation in the news.
