I was watching the British series Outrageous, and realized how everybody was scandalized by little things. Set in 1931, I wanted to scream "You got the Naxis marching on you!" But then I thought - This is Canada.
Canada and the US started with exactly the same people, and yet the approach to risk and 'shame' is completely different. All those girls could shock British society, and then go to New York, where they would be the toast of the town.
I also realized about all the money Canadians earn in California. What is different?
I propose we work very hard to create a slice of California in Canada. My thought is that it would be underground at Wesleyville, connected by high-speed rail to Montreal and Toronto. I have many thoughts on it, but it would need a different tax regime, and should bring in the money equivalent to tax. Canada steps on people too hard, too early, so they never go ballistic. The country should invest the equivalent of tax, and reap 10 times the benefit, over a large base.
This has endless 'challenges' mainly from the big blabbermouths like Dougie and the commies. I think it could work, though, with a little bit of thought. Carny is our only brain in politics, and it has to come from him.
This is part of my series on how to fix Canada. I am just introducing segments in stealth mode. There are so many forces wanting to smash us down, for personal gain.
ps I am inspired by the way Canada got Olympic gold medals. We were always content to get fourth.
