This is fun. It has the same geotechnical impossibility rating as the tunnel under the 401. Of course, nothing is impossible, until they can't build it. If you are getting money from this, I wouldn't worry, because there have been lots of impossible things built and forgotten about. (Niagara Tunnel). I predict lots of money for everybody, except me.
I'm not going into details, because nobody cares. Lots of these cables have been built under the sea in the middle of nowhere. And 'middle of nowhere' is the key ingredient here. Comparing these to the new thing, is like using the physics of Venus for the Earth (been done).
I'm just noting that this is a fun thing to watch.
ps pls excuse my French, I only mean to say that this has no physics.
