Ontario's Calcium Valley

 We need something to rival Silicon Valley, and we can absorb all the bright Canadians in California, when things turn sour.  

It will be in Wesleyville, and it will all be underground, in the limestone, calcium carbonate.  We can only go for this after we shed all the warmie myths.  

I'm thinking a giant Darlington station will go up, but we need some modifications.  So, we can lay in the groundwork with conventional funds, but the money group will be independent and named NukeM, instead of NukeX.  We'll call it Duke for short.

Duke needs to be independent from stupidity, present and future, and will be like the X vision of going to Mars.  It will make enough money to eventually scale fusion to be useful.  It will excel in 'high energy' products, instead of low energy like useless windmills.

We don't have a crazy billionaire, so we will have to make one, or a bunch of them.  We will recruit 'brights' from our exiles in Callie.  They left because of the 'Canada Problem' and I was discussing this with my son.  "Why is Canada such a loser, that brights go to California?".  Many answers to that, and one is that our billionaires just make their money from Canadian monopolies.  If I talked to one of these, I would be scared he would eat my liver.  It's easy to talk to Callie money-brights.

So, a few billion to set this up.  We would have to change taxation, a #1 problem.  We have to treat 'new wealth' different from just the monopoly shit, or god-awful developers.  All the New Callie would be underground, and we would have huge farms of Coca and Poppies to purify the air.  The money would come from developing plasma torches with minor fusion.  

Nukem would eliminate the vacuum building from the big station, because it's stupid.  They would improve the fuel channels, and fix the feeder machine.  All these are stupid things that reduce the power and lifetime of the station.  

It would bring in billions, and be a world leader.  It would solve the tiny physics problem for fusion.  I can't wait.

It's a tough slog, and you have to fight off the 'power weasels".  It can only be done if we are shocked by what tumples will do.  He's a Callie fire.
