Another Arctic spill comes tearing down

 

This one is powerful, driving the wet side of the clipper down on poor Dallas.  The little bit of Gulf warmth is kicked to the curb.

The Arctic has gone into semi-recharge.  That is to say, the UK is being left to be torn apart by Atlantic storms, but NA (us) gets continuous spill treatment.

The NA wind pattern is mixed with the Pacific air, but that is being swept under the carpet.

The Arctic recharge mechanism is in full operation.  We can expect a mega-blob somewhere.

The incoming warm invasion from the Pacific is being attacked by our Arctic x-wing fighters.  They are weak, and the Force is with us.

ps although the LA fires are now a poster child for clange, the wind was an Arctic blast from the north.
