This is a vertical clipper, which hasn't happened before. Normally, they are always on a diagonal to the south east.
The clipper is still being fed up by Alaska.
The Arctic is in full recharge, and has a full belly, munching the warm air. Greenland is not white yet.
The lazy spiral is the blob machine. I would go 80% of an M9.5 blob coming down. It all looks exactly like before, but uncertainties remain.
The cold air is setting up for California. As soon as the fires set up, it is hot air, and the poster child for clange. The gyre is not descending, so I only give 50% that it is as bad as before.
Europe is stagnant, but the Atlantic plumes will squeeze the blob to NA.
ps. the Gulf of Mexico is being stripped of heat, but the Atlantic is still strong in residual heat. This is good for my Caribbean vacation, but sucks for the US deep south, land of Trump.
