Clockwise gyre comes back to Southern California

The fires, of course, are a total creature of Global Carbon Warming.  That is more reason why natgas prices will remain low, until they empty the storage tanks.

Just looking at the winds is fascinating.  You can see everything zooming out from the mountains, and it looks like we are violating the law of Conservation of Mass.  Of course, the warmies don't care for the the laws of physics, so perhaps this is magic.  But really, when you see a clear violation, it's because of a 3d effect.  Air is coming in over the mountains, chilling and dropping.  No warmth at all, except for the fires.

The clockwise gyre may be just going along for the ride.  It was big for the last fires, but then another one came, and did nothing.  Oh well, these things are always due to cold air, not hot.  In fact, it is obvious that the wind is driven by cold, but since the fires burn you, we will call this clange.  Yeah!

We'll see tomorrow, if we are setting up again for something big.

Our wonderful warmies are going on and on about how this is 'once in a lifetime'.  Ha, wait until a worse one hits in 2 weeks.

ps. The hypothesis is that we are going back in time to 1500.  The cold ended in the 1800's.

The last measurable snowfall in New Orleans was Dec. 4, 2009, and the last comparable event, where the city received around 20 cm of snow, was Feb. 14-15, 1895—more than 130 years ago!

ps and this is the fun thing that happened last time.

ps. OMG, just walked outside with the dog and only had my light summer painting pants on.  Instant dive into the cold water!  Ouch!
