Today is Ontario Climate Change Day

Today is the big announcement from The Doug.  I wish he would listen to me and launch the balloons for new atmospheric physics, but he won't.  But we know the carbonistas are doubling down for the coming ice age, and there will be a great Twit-storm, no matter what he does.

He has a billion dollars tied up for climate change, and I suspect that he'll just stick to that.  His hands are tied.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, our warmies are cluttering the printing presses.  Half the articles are on how global warming is bringing global cooling.  The other half just sticks to old temperature news and makes their grand projections.

The old guy and I have a pool on how long we go into the ice age before they give up.  I'm still thinking a year, because they always have July.  Recent articles go on and on about it.  Even Siberia gets hot in July.  That's the default 'landlocked' climate!  In Toronto we have July and August because we are lower in latitude.  And some of September because of the lakes.

Right now we are enjoying normal November weather because of a very strong Pacific plume that drenched California.  They blamed the fires on climate change, and now they include floods and landslides.  Thank goodness we've had a quiet few years in earthquakes.

The next two Pacific plumes look like they'll die in the Arctic.  In Toronto we'll enjoy a one day lunge from the Gulf of Mexico.

ps.  this intense plume activity could make me embarrassed, come the next temp charts.  :)

pps. here it is.
