Dear Trumples -- please turn us into one your welfare colonies

Honestly, what's wrong with this.  Canada is caught between two fantasies -- that of the Singing Left, and the Fording Right.

Singing Left - money grows on trees.  No need for an economy.  The ndp destroyed the Ontario economy, and who cares?

Fording Right -- kill all the deviants, and we are fine behind our barbed wire.  Workers can build transit that nobody will use, and housing that nobody will live in.  We make out like bandits.

Unfortunately, both sides just decrease our Standard of Living, and people drop out the bottom.  We will have armies of homeless people who want to kill us.  Nobody will go anywhere because they want to stay alive a bit longer.

The solution is to pimp ourselves out to the rich Americans.  We will have the benefit of cheap scotch at Costco.  I'm all for it!

If we don't do that, then this is our new car that gets stuck in 1 inch of snow, and doesn't hit the homeless hard enough for an insurance scam.  Really, some guy with a motorcycle was complaining about this in Calgary.  They jump in front for a payout.  The SUV has too much chance of killing them.  This new car is made of cardboard.

No productivity - just went to get the passport renewed.  You can go to a Service Canada store.  When I went last year it was surrounded by lines of asylum seekers.  You used to be able to parachute into Canada, and then apply.  What you really wanted was to sneak into the US because it's too cold here.  Now the place is empty.  We filled out the form in pdf, and printed the sheet.  The print is too tiny and all over the place.  One person directs us to the data clerk who then retypes everything into the computer, only for the passport to be added to a huge pile in Ottawa, all ready to be mailed out. -- ha! Postal Strike!  The data lady told us it was better to just block print in the form.
