Alberta gets sucked into the next stupid thing

Every dog has its day.  Poor Alberta is suffering from not having any brains.  Canada doesn't have any brains either, because they all went to California to work for slave-master billionaires.

'Central Control' AI's have reached their scaling limits.  First, the growth rate is going down, next the whole thing crumbles.  The new super AI lies as much as trumples.

Can we go through the list of 'one day fantasies'?

Hydrogen to the house - hydrogen is 10 times likelier to leak than natgas, simply because the nasty molecule is small, corrosive, and sneaky.  Natgas house explosions are one in 10 million, same as propane, but hydrogen accidents are a dime a dozen.

EV battery plants - Everybody and their dog was building one, and now it is all dust.

Windmills - Even Lefty-Lucy Europe has given up on them.  The governments constantly quote 'full capacity' numbers, but real numbers are at 8%, and lower for peak times.  Same with solar cells in an ice age.  BC and the Feds are still 'left of looney'.

I expected more from Alberta.  If they had just put a buck into physics, then we would have a story for fossil fuels.  But, nope.

The next Alberta carpet-bagger will push quantum computing, which has the same odds of being actually useful as fusion power.  Physics is a bitch.

ps.  I apologize, he's building a New Silicoal Valley
