Brighten up in your old age

We need old people to be brighter, since they are the only ones who remember physics.  We had a very bright grand-nephew over to dinner yesterday.  He's a Ukrainian refugee and 4 years old.  He has an innate attraction to physics and math, just like me, but no relation.  Anyway, we had him on the Turing mechanical computer, which my kids ignored, and he was making up new things instantly.  Downstairs, in my lair, I went over all my microchip work with the Raspi.  He loved making the connections.

This is my dream for my grandkid, but no hope there, since he is being raised by California kids.  All software - blah.  I gave up on my kids, but my dreams are for the grand kids to ask about physics.

But I digress.  We must realize we are evolved from worms.  Some people, like trumples, make that an obvious thing.  But a worm is just a gut, mouth and a brain.  That's what we started with, and our brains are still connected to our gut, in a complex manner.  We may offload things to the gut, acting as part of the brain (gut instinct!).

Some researchers in the UK believe this and tested old twins.  One twin got a prebiotic, and the other, the usual placebo.  In a very short time, the one with the prebiotic was brighter, by tests.  A prebiotic is a proven nutrient to the gut bacteria.

Inulin is the key here.  I like gummies.  Two days after taking this every day, I feel a lot brighter, later in the morning.  I use up all my brain power in the morning, doing the blog, so right now, this is giving me an extra hour, and no fatigue.  I also take a vitD gummie, but I have never noticed anything.

So, brighten up everybody, and think of physics!
