This is in that weird zone by Northern Callie. It has nothing to do with anything else, and it is always getting earthquakes. A totally trivial earthquake.
However, it tested the systems, giving everybody a tsunami warning. If trumples appointed me 'King of Earthquacks' working next to muskie, I would say there is no effect of wiping out the USGS (outside of California). However, in reality, I would never get to say anything, because I would have killed myself.
