Weather forecast continues with physics 'Great Expectations'

We continue to have Arctic flow.  The big issue with the conventional weather people is 'whether' that Pacific plume will cross the mountains and warm up Calgary, with a classic Chinook.  I don't see it.

Greenland is still white, and that is my general signal for cold.

We are getting a solid air flow over HudsonB.  Since there is no ice there, I'm assuming that air isn't that cold.  With really cold air, we get a cyclone.

The air flow to the UK is trying to establish itself again, but warm plumes are interfering.

For the big picture, we continue to have the important ocean temperatures plunging.

The Gulf of Maine is my surrogate for the NA temperatures.  It is good to use a body of water, rather than peak air temperatures, as the 'main' warmies are wont to do.

I use the 'Nino Belt' as the thermometer for the whole world.  We are way down.

The anomaly map shows the HudsonB air flow is warm, since it seems to be a 'curved back' plume.  Our 'Spear of Cold Canadian Counter-Attack' is still there, and I hope it hits Marred Lego with a wallop.
