The Spencer plot is now in sync with all the other plots. Like the others, it shows the pulsing of world heat, and how we are now in a heat-decay situation. In terms of 'rise' this latest peak is the same as the big 1997 peak, which I have expected.
We have no idea on the mechanism of these pulses, and the general average rise, associated with the long cycle. If this pulse just dies down to the average rise line, then we are only in a 'short ice cycle'. If it goes below, we are at the end of our long warming cycle, and entering a new 'little ice age'. I hope not.
We could easily find the mechanism, using physics, but we won't. I was gob-smacked by this pulse of heat, because it was so different from the others. Our coming winter really depends on how quickly that peak falls. You can see the various differences in the 'falling rates'.
ps that long cycle goes back to 1850, when the first puff of steam affected the whole world....
