Standard clipper meets southern air

You can see that the Arctic is still filling up.  However, the Pacific plume has come in over the Yukon, and we have a standard clipper.  That's when the warm Pacific air tears out a chunk of cold, and it comes down on Toronto as a mixed bag of snow.

Clippers are always a big mess.

Have fun everybody.

ps you can see that the Arctic is still taking in more air than going out.  The 'standard clipper' was our main winter mechanism of yore.  As with last year, if the Pacific plume skiers had more heat energy, they would not bring down the avalance.

ps again -- neat radar
