Game consoles priced out of the market

This is interesting to me in that I saw the big price increase last December and bought a forgotten Minisforum computer that was stacked up with the fast memory that you can't buy now.

I was using that computer to bring to life old family videos.  Then the liquid-metal cooler broke.  Took months for the warranty because there weren't any of these machines around.  I took out all the high-speed stuff, and they eventually found a UM773 lite barebones.  It works fine now.

Suddenly I had the notion to bring back all the PS3 games stacked in the closet.  I used the AI to install an emulator for Linux, and was off.  It worked great.  Now, I just have the problem that I am worth poop on games.  For the driving game, I finally worked up to driving a mini at 40 on a track.  And it flared up my sciatica that hasn't been around for 30 years!  I just think about the games now, and I feel it.

All being put away again.  My conjecture is that console games are finished for those big social games.  People live to cheat on those things, or boost up their PC's to fire-zone levels, or pay big money.  The human condition.
