Clear air convection storms

If the clear-air event has wind speeds of over 100 klicks, then it is a storm.  As we get colder, these will start to dominate our weather.  Obviously, it's going to be dry for this.

I was asking the AI about studies into this.  My contention was that all the physics done in the 70's was stopped, but the artie cheerfully said it had evolved into the study of patterns.  In other words, it was stopped.  All the artie weather models now just use the past patterns.

So, the only way to get out of this groupthink is a big whap in the head.  Don't see that coming.  Mainly because the people who love the status-quo are in charge of doing physics.  The big military fire was like an airliner drop, it was a convection storm.  No matter what sort of winter we get, it will be due to the big ninnie.  Climate change will rev up again with the short stagnant summer.
