It's so cold that even sitting in full sun on the deck freezes my nose. We are closing a week early. I expect snow on Thanksgiving, maybe not.
We are splitting wood for the fires tonight and the morning. Everything is beautiful, but dang cold.
ps 2:30 pm. Totally stagnant air. Physics is working to extract heat. Getting colder by the minute.
ps Sunday morning - we are gone, just beat the rain. Marina guy says he can't take a winter like last year with continuous snow clearing, and he was glad we were going to have a mild winter. I just nodded.
