Arctic Blob Against Hurricane

 

A magnificent battle, resulting in a lot of rain.

No sign of El Nino.  It's almost like it didn't exist.

The sad thing about the hurricane is that it sucked all the heat energy out of the Gulf.  That's the only source of warmth for us this winter.
