The Arctic has just dumped everything in all directions. Very unusual, and the Arctic Basin Vortex is stunned. I wonder if a new mechanism wants to come in.
Clear-air convection storms, previously known as blobs, are bowling-balling the plumes.
We are getting a little moisture from the Gulf. The noreaster has been smashed out to sea. Another fine clear storm is coming down on us.
That storm hitting the UK has no moisture on the MIMIC. Shall we call it a clear-air convection vortex, the the Arctic Basin Vortex. Are these things taking over the world?
