There is no greater engineering disaster (right now) than the Ottawa LRT. Other disasters, such as the Niagara Tunnel, can just hide, but they are trying to make this work.
The inquiry does all the usual things, and can be said to have done nothing. Off to the next disaster. However, just to be nice for Christmas, we can say that 90% of infrastructure construction is doing fine, just horribly late and expensive.
