Ok, I've just cleared out a second foot of globally-warmed snow on the driveway. I'm leaning towards the 'warming is good' camp! However, I just don't believe it is coming. I'm more inclined to go with the Russian scientists who say that "Warming is over, pals! Get ready for some real shit!".
If some Suzukiist comes after me for running my snowblower, I'll bury him with snow!

Oh, I don't knoe. It's disconcerting not having the regular amount of snow in winter. What does that do to our water tables? Just got back from Pennsylvania where it was unusually warm, "Probably not cold enought to kill the ticks." A nice cold winter is s great public-health benefit when it coms to killing off parasites. Before modern medicine, the sunny South was home to hookworm and a lot of other parasites, leading to the "lazy" (read "sick") Southerner.
Yes, only 2 options: getting warmer or cooler. One brings up the killer bees, the other brings 10 feet of snow!
