From Stagnant-Wet to Stagnant-Dry

Yeah!  We've had enough rain, now it is dry.  Fine for the hay.

This perfect September or October 'default' weather, which is just the expected weather, based on latitude.

The Arctic is spinning up again.  Enjoy the nice weather.

Nothing new on the nino-front.

You can see the heat blobs coming down to the SE like many pigs in a python.  One is through, and the nino-coin is dropping.  Another one is coming.  These blobs send up the nino curve, but do not have enough heat energy to affect the world.

ps the source of this cool air, giving us a big storm apparently, is 'mixed Arctic' coming down from Greenland.  Normally, a nice fall comes from Pacific air, but that has been gone all year.
