State of the Oceans - Oct 12, 2023

Almost no change over the week, but some interesting tidbits.

The Pacific belt is getting lots of cold water.  There is no indication of warmth coming in.

That giant bulge of cold can still be seen in the currents.  Cold water is coming up the coast.

This is causing the anomaly mirage to pull away from the coast.  The length is shrinking, as well.  It is not any sign of El Nino.

And in major excitement for the UK, there is no sign of any effect of the Gulf Stream.  Both Atlantic and Pacific are exactly the same in the north.  You used to be able to see more warmth around UK.  Once the stationary cyclones run out of energy, they will get the direct Arctic spills, which heralds the start of the Little Ice Age Part 2.

ps.  I think we can now call the El Nino mirage, a nooa zombie finger, slowly decaying as the bugs eat it.
