Fusion rotational detonation engine

 A rotational detonation engine is the Gatling Gun of rocket engines.  It has little explosions to provide the thrust.  Most likely it shakes itself to death, but it could work.

For fusion in a plasma the reaction blows itself up the instant there is fusion.  No hope.  We need a lot of compression on a sufficient amount of fuel to make it work.  This could be done by a ton of little explosions rotating to a thrust cowling.  Just forget the vibrations for now.  This could work and I'm now in a happy mood.  Let the influencers sell!
