Up to now, they were all patting themselves on their collective backs, saying that their smart brains had wiped out the ozone layer holes. If that were me, I'd be saying, right now, that I must have gotten the physics wrong. But these smart brains don't do physics.
The physics says that the ozone hole is just due to stratosphere temperature. As our world goes into a cooling phase, these holes get bigger and bigger. Wait until they get the stats on the Arctic one.
I think they'll just ignore this, like it isn't happening. There is no effect on humans or Nature, because nobody goes sunbathing in a polar winter. It will never spread to take over the whole world, as was thought in the doomer days. Just a thing to know.
Just note that these are the same people who do the physics for climate change, with the same wonderful techniques.
