Fight between physics and philosophy

 Reference

So, this is fun.  The above article makes every physics error you can think of.  It is a beautiful piece of philosophy, and I encourage every philly to read it.

Using extrapolations, it predicts that La Nina will fade, and go to an El Nino by summer/fall.  This is great that they make a prediction, but like so many such predictions, there's nobody with an interest to actually check them.

If we are going into a long ice cycle (ice age), then a cold Pacific sticks around.  It is far beyond the cycles that named the phenomenon.  If El Nino starts, then we'll see a rise in world temperatures.  They had to be very careful in the article, because if ocean conditions are so dominant to world temps, then carbon is not.  You can only have one winner.  However, they did not go overboard in stating that all this is driven by clange.

So, I will hang up my physics hat, if world temperatures go over 2016.  Then, we know that physics does not try to make fools of the phillies.  This would be a first, but it's no sweat off my nose.

ps.  and we also believe that the muskiespacepig can fly.
