Ocean current report - Jan. 25, 2022 -- Gulf Stream starts up again

This could be good news to warm the heart of Britain.

The Arctic current is extremely weak, and the Gulf Stream appears to be starting up again.  This could mean that nobody will notice it was gone.  It could just be a problem with the Argo floats because that area is covered with ice.

The Pacific chaos has now consumed the current right to the origin.  This could mean a big change, but chaos is as chaos does.

The Gulf Stream effect can be noticed by a bulge in warmer ocean temperatures up by the UK.  Since 2016, the temperature contours have been identical at Alaska and the UK.  This is something.
