This is my best indicator of world temperatures. It shows the general instrument drift but the bumps and dips are good. As we know from the tide levels, we are entering a cold period. The media says we are getting hotter and hotter, while experience shows us to be getting colder.
Lots of action in the Pacific, but the giant skid mark of the anomaly remains a stagnant stinking mess. More cold water is coming up, and I think the splotch is getting eaten from the back end, but it is hard to tell.
The cottage is enjoying late August weather with the advantage that the water is still warm from our single heat wave. The Arctic is getting hit by a plume going up China, driven by the typhoon. No Arctic blobs for a while.
The Gulf Stream continues to sink making all of Europe's rivers into a mud-wrestling extravaganza. No plumes are rising above the GS heat line.
My 3 readers are down to 2, according to googs. To get coffees, I need another earthquake.
