Fine August Weather

The typhoons have shoved some warm air up into the Arctic.  The Arctic Vortex has been pushed into a corner.

The world is cool except for a tiny little spot, and the media will make the best of it.  Had we a real Ninnie going on, the Pacific plumes would be back, sweeping over NA.  No sign of that.

A random patch in the North Atlantic is falling in temperature.  The mini-blobs continue to hit the Nino zone, but this has had no effect on world heat.  We are freezing in spite of that.

Europe gets its rain from heavy plumes hitting the Arctic air.  Those light plumes are dry.  There is a nice heavy plume coming in, but it will die, like all the rest.  Big droughts are a hallmark of the Major Ice Cycle, and if you take 10% of the Little Ice Age weather, you can continue to call it Climate Change, until the cows come home.

In all the world, the only people who do well in such a cooling cycle are us, in Toronto.  We shall grow huge cedar forests again, like BC.  And have 10 foot snow.  The rest of the world is screwed.

And you think, wow, if only people knew this was coming, they could build greenhouses instead of windmills, and grow medicinal plants.

ps whoops, video!

There's the poor Arctic Vortex, a wallflower, afraid to dance.

ps and the funniest headline of the day

The guy doesn't learn anything!
