Earth is not Venus

 

I find the article amusing, since it is the fundamental cause of our wonderful Clange Groupthink, which is totally correct, using Influscience.  Only the Cult of the Scientific Method, asks questions, but they are Biden-Braindead.

I discovered that noosa had one of its political shakeups when it ran out of money.  They had to close the whole Venus program and focus on Mars, to keep influence and get money from the politicians.  So sad.

All those old Venus people had seniority, and had to be absorbed back into the fold.  What to do?  They just got rid of all the young Earth physics people, and made Mr. Venus in charge.  Of course, these guys were soaked in Venus physics, and plastered it onto the Earth.

That was the root of our braindead problem.  The earth physics people had proved over and over again that there was 'No Greenhouse Gases (Effect) on Earth'.  That was a simple matter of the Rayleigh Number, which determined that convection dominated by hundreds of times, all the heat transfer on Earth (as determined by the tarred and feathered Scientific Method.

Of course, that was no obstacle to Mr. Venus.  He just overruled all that, and billions went along with him.  That is the definition of legal 'Influ-truth'.  I was happy to live through those times.

So, our influ-truth is that Earth is Venus, and heat transfer is dominated by radiation, and 'heavy gases' seal us in like one of those foil emergency blankets.  I would never argue this point, but I find history is amusing.  Of course, these guys constantly rewrite history.

On a similar note, noosa had already done that when the SM conflicted with their story on the Ozone Hole.  Off with their heads!

ps. I can't be more specific, because Influscience is dominated by legal issues, and lawsuits.  I just stay in pure fiction.

ps so, to be a true believer, you must go with the logic -- Earth is round, Venus is round, they are the same.

ps yeah, this is on the news.  End of Humanity, but the cockroaches will survive.

They must get more wild to save their exalted positions.  Too many other disasters going on.

 But they would never mention this - rain in the Sahara is another sign of the ice cycle.
