Big wad of Pacific air gives us a nice weekend

This is the long recording of mimic.  You can see the full evolution of the hurricane, and the strong Pacific plume that made it over the mountains.  Our tongue of cold air has run out of steam, but is still doing the job of managing the hurricane.  Everything is a messy muck right now, and hopefully another cold blob will come for the next Gulf Hurricane.  I still think there is enough juice for one.

ps in Europe, they have 'Climaggedon' coming with 400C temperatures, and 15000 mph winds.

Oops! that was an AI hallucination, just like all of clange.  In reality, they have another monster cold blob hitting them.

ps. you can see how cold UK is, and the next cold blob coming down to hit us.

ps the physics mechanism for the hurricanes is amazing.  If that new cold blob comes down hard, we'll see another hurricane (at 20% prob).  Remember that hurricanes are a ying-yang system of cold and hot.
